The NHS Friends and Family Test is an easy-to-understand question that we are asking patients. It means you can give your feedback about the treatment you have received.
Why is The NHS Friends and Family Test important?
The NHS wants to make sure that you have the best possible experience of care. The NHS Friends and Family Test is a way of gathering your feedback, so we can make improvements to our services.
It is based on one simple question: “How likely are you to recommend our GP practice to friends and family if they needed similar care and treatment?”
You will be able to select from the following responses:
Extremely Likely, Likely, Neither likely or unlikely, Extremely unlikely, Don’t know
You will also be able to provide us with more information about you answer. This is optional, but it helps us to understand why you chose your particular answer and learn a little more of your experience. You do not have to include your name, if you do not wish to.
How often can your respond to The NHS Friends and Family Test?
You can do it just once, or each time you use our service.
How will the results be used?
Your feedback will help us learn more about what you think about our service – what you like and what you think we could improve.
